This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using the ÄRI platform. By using our Service, you agree to follow these guidelines and help maintain a professional, respectful, and safe environment for all users.

This AUP is part of our Terms of Service and should be read in conjunction with them.

All users of ÄRI are expected to:

3. Profile Content Guidelines

Your profile represents you on our platform. Please ensure:

• Use your real name and accurate personal information
• Use a professional, appropriate profile photo that clearly shows your face
• Provide truthful information about your experience, skills, and qualifications
• Keep your profile information current and update it when circumstances change

3.2 Profile Photos

Profile photos must:

• Be of yourself (not someone else or a group photo)
• Be appropriate for a professional setting
• Not contain nudity, violence, or offensive imagery
• Not infringe on third-party copyrights

4. Language Video Requirements

When uploading videos to demonstrate your language proficiency:

• You must be the person appearing in the video
• Videos should clearly demonstrate your language ability
• Content must be appropriate for a professional context
• Videos should not contain copyrighted music, media, or other protected content without permission
• Do not include content that could identify others without their consent
• Videos must not contain hate speech, violence, or inappropriate content

5. Service Listings

When offering services on ÄRI:

• Accurately describe the services you offer, including scope, deliverables, and timeline
• Set fair and transparent pricing
• Only offer services you are qualified and able to provide
• Do not use misleading titles, descriptions, or images
• Respond promptly to inquiries and fulfill your commitments
• Comply with all applicable professional licensing requirements

6. Messaging Guidelines

When communicating with other users:

• Be professional and courteous in all communications
• Respect boundaries if someone does not wish to communicate
• Do not send unsolicited promotional messages or spam
• Do not request or share inappropriate personal information
• Do not attempt to circumvent platform fees by taking transactions outside the platform

7. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on ÄRI:

7.1 Harmful Content

• Hate speech or content promoting discrimination
• Violent, threatening, or intimidating content
• Sexually explicit or pornographic content
• Content promoting illegal activities
• Content that glorifies self-harm or suicide

7.2 Deceptive Practices

• Impersonating another person or entity
• Creating fake accounts or profiles
• Misrepresenting your qualifications or experience
• Posting false or misleading reviews
• Phishing or attempting to obtain sensitive information

7.3 Harassment and Abuse

• Harassment, bullying, or stalking other users
• Sending repeated unwanted messages
• Doxxing or sharing others' personal information
• Making threats of any kind

7.4 Illegal Activities

• Money laundering or financial fraud
• Selling illegal goods or services
• Infringing intellectual property rights
• Violating privacy laws or regulations
• Any other activity that violates applicable law

7.5 Platform Abuse

• Attempting to circumvent security measures or access restrictions
• Automated scraping or data collection without permission
• Distributing malware or malicious code
• Overloading our systems or interfering with service
• Creating multiple accounts to evade restrictions

8. Company Accounts

Companies using ÄRI to find candidates must:

• Provide accurate company information
• Represent legitimate business entities
• Use candidate information only for legitimate recruitment purposes
• Respect candidate privacy and not share their information without consent
• Not engage in discriminatory hiring practices
• Comply with all applicable employment and privacy laws

9. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy, please report it to us immediately at contact@ari.com.ee. Include as much detail as possible, including:

• The username or profile of the violating party
• A description of the violation
• Screenshots or other evidence if available
• When and where the violation occurred

All reports are reviewed confidentially. We do not disclose the identity of reporters to the reported party.

10. Enforcement

We take violations of this policy seriously. Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may:

• Issue a warning
• Remove violating content
• Temporarily suspend your account
• Permanently ban your account
• Report the activity to law enforcement if applicable

We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate to protect our community and platform.

11. Appeals

If you believe we made an error in enforcing this policy, you may appeal by contacting us at contact@ari.com.ee with the subject line "AUP Appeal." Include your username, a description of the action taken, and why you believe it was in error. We will review your appeal and respond within 14 days.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated policy and updating the effective date above.
